How the Matching Works

You tell us what is wrong, or what you want installed. Then we pass your request to a provider in our network that serves your area. The provider contacts you to talk through the job and, when it makes sense, to arrange a visit.

You can ask more than one provider for a quote. Compare, then decide.

What to Have Ready

A few details help a provider understand your request from the start. You do not need to be an expert. Plain words are fine.

• What the door is doing, or not doing
• Whether the car or other items are stuck inside
• The type of door and opener, if you know it
• A few days or times that suit your week

Photos can also help, but they are not required.

What Providers Are Asked to Do

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are expected to:

• Explain the problem in plain words
• Quote in writing before work starts
• Be clear about parts, labor and any extra charges
• Respect your time and your home

Providers set their own prices, schedules and service areas. Each one is responsible for its own work, licensing and insurance, so ask about these directly.

What We Do Not Do

We do not do repairs or installations. We do not set prices. We do not promise arrival times, and we cannot promise what a job will cost. We also do not pressure anyone to book. If you ask for an estimate and walk away, that is fine.

Homeowners are not charged by Footethnic Garage Doors to request an estimate. Providers in our network may pay a referral fee for requests that reach them. Your final price is agreed between you and the provider, so always get it in writing.
